CAU students bring laurels

Priya Thokchom and Ritika, students of College of Fisheries, Lembucherra, Tripura, a college under Central Agricultural University (CAU) Imphal secured 2nd position in the Mehendi Competition at the 38th AIU Inter-University National Youth Festival, held at Amity University, Noida.
Upon their return, the duo presented the award to Dr Anupam Mishra, Vice-Chancellor, CAU Imphal, expressing their gratitude for the support and encouragement from the university.
They proudly conveyed that the CAU team's achievement at the national level was a result of the institution's continuous patronage and blessings.
The remarkable feat highlighted the talent and dedication of CAU students, reinforcing the university's commitment to excellence in extracurricular activities alongside academics.
Meanwhile, an Intellectual Property Right entitled "District-wise sulphur and micronutrient status in soils of Manipur and management Options: Atlas" authored by Prof Indira Sarangthem, Dean, College of Agriculture, Iroisemba, CAU, Imphal & DI, CAU, Imphal has been registered at the Copyright Office of the Government of India.
As per a release issued by CAU, the registered copyright work was published under All India Coordinated Research Project of Micro and Secondary Nutrients and Pollutant Elements in Soils and Plants (AICRP-MSPE), CAU, Imphal Centre in collaboration with ICAR-Indian Institute of Soil Science (IISS), Bhopal.
