ABVP announces candidates for MUSU election

Imphal, September 21 2025: The Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP), Manipur University Unit, has officially announced its candidates for the upcoming Manipur University Students' Union (MUSU) election.

As per a release issued by ABVP Manipur, four student leaders will represent ABVP in the upcoming election namely Kongkham Ganguly Singh (president- ballot no 1), Rajiangong Golmei (general secretary- ballot no 4), Pinubala Laishram (social & culture secretary- ballot no 2) and Merina Ningthoujam (literary &publication secretary- ballot no 2).Notably, ABVP has been continuously working 365 days, 24x7, for the welfare of students and society.

Over the years, ABVP Manipur Unit has carried out numerous constructive initiatives for the betterment of education, improvement of hostel facilities, promotion of sports, encouragement of cultural activities, and overall campus development.

Speaking on the occasion, Gautam Philem appealed to all students of Manipur University to extend their support and cast their valuable votes in favour of ABVP candidates.

He also expressed gratitude to the faculty, non-faculty and every well-wisher of ABVP for their constant encouragement and guidance in building a better Manipur University.

Further, ABVP assured the students that its candidates will dedicate themselves to bringing positive change, strengthening the academic environment, and ensuring a brighter future for all.
