KIMACs organises awareness programme

Imphal, October 09 2024: As part of its ongoing campaign on "Role of Manipur Dance in our Society", Kanglei Indigenous Martial Arts and Cultural Society (KIMACS) organised an awareness programme at Xpert Group Of Institution in Malom Tuliyaima, Hawairou, Imphal West district today.

The awareness campaign is being organised by KIMACS in collaboration with the Department of Art & Culture, Government of Manipur; Manipur University of Culture; Government Dance College and JN Manipur Dance Academy from August 19 to October 19, 2024, said a release issued by KIMACS.

KIMACS, general secretary, RK Lenensana; Xpert Group of Institution, principal, Ashagupta; Manipur International University, Assistant Professor, Dr Bidyananda Yumlembam and research scholar Wahengbam Thoi attended the programme as dignitaries.

At the event, the dignitaries stressed on the need for collective effort to promote & preserve the culture and traditional arts forms of Manipur.
