Financial Literacy Camp held

As part of the '3-Months Saturation Campaign on Financial Inclusion Schemes at Gram Panchayat Level', a financial literacy camp was held at Ghari Awang Leikai Community Hall, Sagolband Thounaojam Leikai Gram Panchayat, Imphal West district today.
The camp was jointly organised by LDM Imphal West District and State Level Bankers' Committee (SLBC), Manipur in collaboration with RBI, District Administration Imphal West, Manipur State Rural Livelihood Mission (MSRLM and CRISIL Foundation.
The camp held under the aegis of Department of Financial Services.
Government of India was graced by dignitaries, including Khumukcham Okendro Singh, Regional Manager, State Bank of India, RBO Imphal; Bobby Lal Sebastian, CGM, RBI Ombudsman, Guwahati; N Sridhar, GM, OIC, RBI Imphal; and Yumnam Kunjamani Singh.
Notably, the nationwide campaign launched by the Department of Financial Services aims to saturate all Gram Panchayats with financial inclusion schemes.
The campaign, which started on July 1, 2025, and will continue until September 30, 2025, focuses on ensuring that every eligible citizen has access to key financial services and social security schemes.
During the camp, the gathering was informed about PMJDY account opening, PMJJBY, PMSBY, APY, re-KYC of all savings bank accounts, digital fraud prevention and unclaimed deposits.
