Imphal, May 19 2024: A novel titled, "Waroipot" authored by Chongtham Achouba Singh (80) was released today in a function held at Manipur Press Club, Imphal.

The book release function was organised by NP Publication Centre, Wangjing Sorokhaibam Leikai.

It was graced by Prof Nahakpam Aruna, former Dean, School of Humanities, Manipur University; Sahitya Akademi awardee Kshetri Bira; and Nongmaithem Kirankumar Singh, president, Manipuri Literary Society, Imphal as presidium members.

During the function, Saikhom Chaoba, retired Senior Lecturer, gava a brief introduction & review of the book.

All India Radio Imphal senior drama artist Ch Surendro Sharma gave the welcome address while the keynote address was delivered by advocate Oinam Chitaramjan.

NP Publication Centre founder Narengbam Priyobrata also spoke on the occasion.
