Kakching, November 07 2025: The District Health Society, Kakching, under the initiative of National Health Mission, organised a district-level Accredited Social Health Activist (ASHA) Convention 2025 for the ASHA Workers of the district at the auditorium hall of Library and Information Centre, Kakching.

The programme was attended by ADM Kakching, Pangambam Santikumar as the chief guest; Chief Medical Officer and District Mission Director of Kakching, Dr Thaodem Rajen as the functional president; and DFWO/DIO District Health Society, Dr Ksh Sumati as guest of honour.

During the event, eight best ASHA workers of the district were honoured and presented awards in recognition of their service to the people.

The award ceremony was also followed by a short play performed by ASHA workers on various themes.

The event was also attended by District Nodal Officer of DHS Kakching, Dr Kh Gopeshwar; District Finance Manager of DHS Kakching, O Sulochana; District Programme Manager O Pushpa; DPHNO of CMO Office Kakching, W Memabati; and MO in-charge of various CHC, PHC, and UPHC of the district.
