Imphal, September 30 2025: All Manipur Film Makers' & Producers' Association (AMFIMPA) has made an appeal to the State Government to build modem cinema halls in all districts of the State.

According to a press release issued by Premjit Naoroibam, general secretary, AMFIMPA, the appeal was made considering the plight of those engaged in filmmaking who are facing various difficulties due to the lack of cinema halls suited to the current times and also for the overall development of films/cinema in Manipur.

Additionally, the press release has urged producers of (video) digital films to visit AMFIMPA for banner registration and title entry without fail prior starting any shooting or blessing ceremony.
