Imphal, February 28 2025: The Zeliangrong Union-Assam, Manipur & Nagaland (ZU-AMN) celebrated its 100th anniversary on Friday at Sangaiprou Kabui village, Imphal West district.

The event was held on the theme, "Commemorate the Past to Inspire the Future" .

The inaugural function was graced by dignitaries, including Prof Meijinlung Kamson, former Union Minister of State (Home Affairs); Azang Rongmei, president, ZU-AMN; Thaithuilung Pamei, Commissioner, Horticulture & Soil Conservation, Manipur; Joseph Pauline Kamson, Secretary, Economics & Statistics, Manipur; Hannah Kamei, Director, TD & Hills, Manipur and Gaikhangam, former Deputy Chief Minister of Manipur.

The valedictory function was graced by Sapam Kunjakeswor Singh, MLA, Patsoi AC; Namsinrei Panmei, Caretaker Chairman, ADC Tamenglong; G Shantikumar Kabui, Joint Secretary, Information Commission, Manipur; and KG Daigong, Joint Secretary, CAF & PD, Manipur as presidium members.

Traditional drum beating, 'Ho-Hoing', folk song, traditional attire parade and display, etc were the main highlights of the event.
