K Robindro holds development meet, 38 families join BJP

Imphal, September 21 2026: Mayang Imphal AC MLA Kongkham Robindro has reiterated his commitment to continue development works in the constituency.

Speaking at a meeting held on Sunday at the residence of Chesam Iqbal at Phoubakchao Mayai Leikai, Robindro said he has been working with the people of Mayang Imphal for two consecutive terms as MLA and will continue to do so.

The meeting was convened with residents of Polling Stations 23/37, 23/38 and 23/39 of Phoubakchao area to discuss local development needs.

The MLA reviewed works already taken up in the three polling areas and held detailed discussion on priority works demanded by the locals.

Robindro said as a public representative his main objective is to bring development, ensure people get their rightful entitlements, improve road connectivity, bridges, irrigation canals, healthcare and drinking water facilities and uplift the economic condition of families.

He said development works will be taken up without any political bias.

On the occasion, 38 families of Komlakhong area who were earlier associated with different political parties joined BJP extending support to Robindro.

BJP Mayang Imphal Mandal president Irom Robi, vice president M Arun, social worker Kongkham Manglem, former Uchiwa Zilla Parishad ZP member Mayengbam Gyanendra, Caretaker Chairperson of Laphupat Tera Komlakhong GP N Basanta and Caretaker Chairperson of Phouakchao Sekmaijin GP Oinam Pepilon and many prominent persons of the three polling stations attended.
