Applications for Young India Ke Bol open, State's youth urged to participate

Imphal, February 17 2020: In connection with the announcement of Young India Ke Bol, a National level speech competition, to be organised by Indian Youth Congress on March 23 at New Delhi, Indian Youth Congress Manipur unit and Manipur Pradesh Youth Congress have invited applications from the youth of the State.

Indian Youth Congress Manipur, secretary i/c Sarif Rahman and Manipur Pradesh Youth Congress president Amir Hussain were present at the time of the announcement among others.

Speaking to media persons, Sarif Rahman conveyed that the competition will be organised at the district and the State levels and that winners of each State will participate at the National level competition.

He urged all the unemployed youth of the State to support and participate in the competition while adding that the final competition will be organised on the death anniversary of the country's socialist and revolutionary Bhagat Singh.

Any person (between 18-35 years) can apply for free on or before February 29 at "http://bit.ly/SpeechonNRU" and the speech can be given in Hindi, English and all regional languages.

He continued that the Indian Youth Congress launched Nationwide campaign demanding the Central Government to create National Register for Unemployed (NRU), on January 25 this year, to address the problem of unemployment in the country.

As part of the campaign, unemployed persons can give a miss call to the toll free number (8151994411) to support the demand for NRU.

Meanwhile, Indian Youth Congress, in a statement, has conveyed that Young India Ke Bol aims to bring National Register for Unemployment throughout the country.

It stated that the initiative was envisioned to give a platform to the young orators and leaders of the country, who can communicate their thoughts to inspire other youths and peers and to encourage participatory democracy.

Indian Youth Congress further mentioned that mementos will be awarded to the winners of the competition and all applicants will be given certificates of participation and winners will be given certificate of excellence as well.
