CAU Imphal gears up for Agri-Youth Parliament 2026

Imphal, March 12 2026:
The Central Agricultural University (CAU) in Imphal, a leading agricultural institution serving the North Eastern Region, is set to host a three-day Agri-Youth Parliament 2026- North East Bharat from March 21-23, 2026, at its campus.
The event, organised under the guidance of chief patron Dr Anupam Mishra, Vice Chancellor of CAU, aims to establish a dynamic platform connecting agricultural youth, aspiring agri-entrepreneurs, start-ups, and successful innovators with scientists, researchers, and progressive farmers.
As per a release issued by CAU, the primary goal is to encourage dialogue, exchange ideas, and build capacity among stakeholders to shape a sustainable and prosperous agricultural future for the region.
The initiative aligns with national developmental goals, contributing to a roadmap for achieving a strong agricultural and economic ecosystem in the North Eastern Region by the Amrit Kaal (2047) .
Key highlights of the parliament will include entrepreneurship-oriented interactive sessions focusing on Agri-start-ups and entrepreneurial ecosystems in North East Bharat, advancing agricultural innovation and technology acceleration, strengthening commercialization ecosystems, and promoting farm-to-market value chains and market-led agriculture.
The programme will also feature business interactions with investors, exhibitions by youth entrepreneurs and startups, and talks by academicians and professionals sharing their insights.
Applications for participation are currently open for interested stakeholders.
The event is expected to inspire the next generation of agricultural leaders and innovators in the region.
