Cycle rally against 'Drug Abuse' held at Pherzawl

Pherzawl, August 08 2025: As part of the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan (NMBA), the District Administration and District Police of Pherzawl jointly organised a cycle rally today at the district headquarters.

The initiative aimed to raise awareness about the harmful effects of substance abuse and promote a healthy lifestyle.

The rally was flagged off by Joel G Haokip, ADC Pherzawl and witnessed active participation from the district police personnel.

Clad in NMBA-branded t-shirts, the cyclists ride through the main streets of the district headquarters, spreading the core message of the campaign "Say No to Drugs, Yes to Life".

Prior to the rally, Lunzamung Tungnung, Addl SP, administered the NMBA pledge to the participants, reinforcing their shared commitment towards building a drug-free society.

In a separate event, the Manipur State Rural Livelihood Mission (MSRLM), Pherzawl, commenced a four-day Residential Community Facilitator Induction training at Parbung village today.

T Zamlunmang, District Mission Manager informed that this training will be followed by sessions on Village Level Federation Management and Self Help Group Membership training in the coming days.
