Bpr/Chd/Kak/Kpi, June 04 2022: To commemorate the 8th anniversary of the BJP Government at the Centre, Textiles, Commerce & Industry and Cooperation Minister Nemcha Kipgen on Saturday visited Kangpokpi town and participated in the "Garib Kalyan Sammelan" press conference.

Mandal presidents and party workers also took part in the Garib Kalyan Sammelan organized by BJP Sadar Hills District.

Speaking on the occasion, Nemcha Kipgen stated that it was a privilege and a blessing to witness Prime Minister Modi's most fulfilling 8 years journey in "Desh Seva" .

She continued that during the successful 8 years of the BJP Government, various developmental schemes and projects were initiated especially for the poor and needy.

Nemcha mentioned that the State Government under the leadership of Chief Minister N Biren Singh introduced many schemes and projects such as "Go to Hills", "Go to Village", "Meeyamgi Numit", etc apart from the popular "War on Drugs" campaign.

The Minister informed that the Garib Kalyan Sammelan in Sadar Hills Kangpokpi District will aim to identify the needs of the people and implement all Government welfare schemes, effectively leaving no one behind.

She also discussed various inclusive developmental works taken up by the BJP Government in the last 8 years and interacted with the district and Mandal leaders of BJP leaders.

Likewise, as part of the 8 Saal Seva Sushasan Aur Garib Kalyan, BJP Chandel District also organised a Garib Kalyan Sammelan today at its office premises in Pallel.

It was attended by BJP Chandel District in-charge and BJP Manipur Pradesh secretary, Vikram Kongkham; BJP Chandel District president, Sk Angshel Lamkang; vice president, Lalpu Aimol; general secretary, ML Haokip; District and Mandal level leaders of BJP.

BJP Kakching district also organised a similar Garib Kalyan Sammelan at its office in Kakching Bazar.

It was attended by Hiyanglam AC MLA, Dr Radheshyam Yumnam; Wabagai AC MLA, Dr Usham Deben; BJP Kakching District president, U Ibomcha and other prominent members of BJP Kakching district.

Similar Garib Kalyan Sammelan was also held at BJP Bishnupur District Committee office participated by YAS Minister, Govindas Konthoujam; Thang AC MLA, T Robindro; BJP Bishnupur District Committee president, RK Bimola Devi; BJP Bishnupur District in-charge, L Minabanta; District Committee secretary, H Iboyaima; District Morcha presidents; BJP Bishnupur Mandal & Nambol Mandal presidents; and party workers.
