All Manipur United Clubs' Organisation (AMUCO) on Sunday marked the '14th Protest Day' at the Kwakeithel Akham Leikai community hall.
AMUCO had started observing June 14 as the Protest day against the extension of the NSCN (IM)'s ceasefire "without territorial limits" by the then NDA Government at the Centre on June 14, 2001 after a meeting with the NSCN(IM) leaders at Bangkok.

Dr Mani said the people of Manipur are now going through a very difficult time and appealed to the people to remain vigilant.
The AMUCO leader also called upon all groups to prepare for a common platform to bring about peace, development and tranquility in the society.
