Imphal, October 09 2024: Many organisations/civil bodies have expressed deep sorrow and condolence over the untimely demise of All Manipur Tammi Chingmi Apunba Nupi Lup (Tammi Chingmi) secretary finance Ima Sinam Nongleima.

The Apunba Manipur Kanba Ima Lup (AMKIL), All Manipur Women's Social Reformation & Development Samaj (Nupi Samaj), All Manipur Tammi Chingmi Apunba Nupi Lup (Tammi Chingmi), Nongpok Leingak Apunba Nupi Lup (NLANL), Nongchup Imphal Palem Ima Apunba Nupi Lup (NIMPAL), Apunba Nupi Lup (ANUL) Bishnupur, Thoubal District United Women's Development Organisation (Thoubal Ima), Manipuri Chanura Leishem Marup (MACHA LEIMA), Ereipak Enaat Chanura Loinsinlon (EECHAL), Extra-Judicial Execution Victim Families Association Manipur (EEVFAM), Khwairamband Nupi Keithel Semgat Sagat Lup (KNKSSL), Khwairamband Phouoibi Ima Keithel Women's Vendors Welfare Association, Paona Keithel Women's Welfare Organisation, United Peoples' Front (UPF) Manipur, National Identity Protection Council (NIPCO), Manipur Peace & Integrity Council (MAPI Council), Coalition Against Drugs & Alcohol (CADA), All Manipur Progressive Farmers Association (AMPFA) and All Manipur Students' Union (AMSU) have condoled the sudden demise of Ima Nongleima who passed away on September 7, 2024 due to an illness.

The 19 organisations/civil bodies have also extended their solidarity to the bereaved family, said a release issued by CADA.

A condolence meeting was conducted at Uripok Khumanthem Leikai Community Hall on October 8, 2024 to mourn the demise of the late leader.

The gathering observed two minutes of silence to pay homage and pray for the departed soul to rest in peace in the heavenly abode.
