IT Department organises blood donation camp

Thoubal, February 21 2025: As part of Nationwide Voluntary Blood Donation Camp organised by the Income Tax Department, Govt of India, the Income Tax Department Imphal, Manipur in collaboration with Association of Voluntary Blood Donors Manipur (AVBDM), Thoubal branch conducted a Voluntary Blood Donation camp at Blood Center & Transfusion Unit, District Hospital Thoubal.

In connection with the blood donation camp, an awareness programme was also conducted at the conference hall of the District Hospital.

The event was attended by Income Tax Officer Imphal, Sanasam Sachindananda, Imphal Ward no 1, Income Tax Officer, Wahengbam Jiten, Ward no 2, Income Tax Officer, Moirangthem Rabichandra, Ward no 3, Income Tax Officer, Naorem Sanayaima, District Hospital Thoubal, Medical Superintendent, Dr W Ruhinikumar and Blood Center and Transfusion Unit, in-charge officer, Dr L Dorendro as presidium members.

A total number of 27 donors including 3 females donated blood during the camp.

Later, the Income Tax Department honoured the District Hospital, Blood Center, In-charge Officer and the voluntary donors who donate the most blood, with mementos and T-shirts as encouragement for their contribution.
