KDS holds its first annual conference

Thoubal, April 06 2025: Khangabok Development Society (KDS) holds its first annual conference today at the residence of Laishram Milan located at Khangabok Khullakpam Leikai.

The conference was attended by Public Library & Information Centre Khangabok, president Saikhom Manglem Singha as chief guest and KDS advisor, Ningthoujam Dijen as functional president.

The session began with an introductory speech by KDS president, Laishram Lenin followed by a presentation of activity report for the term 2022-25 by KDS secretary, Thokchom Bishwoijit.

Later, KDS finance secretary, Kh Joykumar presented the financial report of the organisation which was approved by the members during the conference.

At the second session of the conference, the members unanimously elected 17 executive bodies for the term (2025-28), in which Thokchom Bishworjit was elected as president, Saikhom Sanahanba Singh as vice-president, and Laishram Milan as secretary.
