43rd Zonal science exhibition held

Thoubal, December 27 2024: The 43 rd Zonal Science Exhibition for School Children 2024-25 was organized today at the conference hall of ZEO Zone-Ill, Thoubal.

The District Zonal science exhibition organised by Directorate of Education (Schools) Science Unit and Zonal Education Officer Zone-Ill Thoubal was held under the theme "Science and Technology For Sustainable Future" .

The exhibition was attended by ZEO Zone-Ill Thoubal, Arambam Anilkumar, MES, Deputy inspector of School Zone-Ill Thoubal, N Rajen and Thoudam Brojen, Assistant Inspector of Schools Zone-Ill Thoubal as presidium members.

The science exhibition was participated by various students of Std IX to XII from different schools of Thoubal district showcasing a wide range of Science models.

At the exhibition, Athokpam Chaoba Devi (Std IX) of LM High School bagged 1st best exhibit prize for her "Fish Drying Machine" model while Bhavani Waikhom (Std IX) of Bright Foundation School bagged 2nd best exhibit prize for her "Waste Management" model and Athokpam Sorojini Devi (Std IX) of LM High School bagged the 3rd best exhibit prize for her "Rice Waste Stove" model.

The winners of the science exhibition were later felicitated by the presidium members with certificates and cash prizes.
