Imphal, August 21 2025: Sagolband AC MLA RK Imo Singh today visited Keishamthong Kabui Khul and interacted with community leaders and committee members in a casual yet meaningful meeting.

As per a release issued by the office of the MLA, the discussions focused on the overall development of the locality.

Among the key initiatives, the MLA assured the community of the replacement of worn-out CGI sheets of the Community Hall, which often causes inconvenience during the rainy season.

He also shared plans to renovate the hall into an echoless facility, enabling smoother conduct of programs and functions.

Another major decision taken during the visit was the upgradation of the old Keishamthong Khul Cemetery, no longer in use, into a community park and playground.

The MLA emphasized that these works will commence immediately for the welfare and benefit of the residents.

Later, the MLA visited the UPHC at Haorokchambi for a quick inspection, followed by a detailed walkthrough of the new UPHC building at Nepra Menjor.

He engaged closely with doctors, staff, ASHAs, and the contractors, urging them to ensure that the new building is handed over by the end of August.

He also expressed confidence that the new UPHC, equipped with modem facilities, will be inaugurated in the coming months, enhancing healthcare not only for the people of Sagolband but also neighboring areas.
