Felicitation ceremonies held at various places

Imphal, July 14 2024: Angels' Coaching Centre, Uripok Polem Leikai, on Sunday organised a felicitation programme of toppers of HSLC & Mock Test 2023-24 at Lainingthou Khamlangba Community Hall, Uripok Polem Leikai, Imphal.

It was attended by Lt General (veteran) L Nishikanta Singh; social scientist Dr Dhanabir Laishram and Angel's Coaching Centre co-ordinator Dr Haobijam Budhichandra Singh as presidium members.

Altogether, 70 meritorious students of Angels' Coaching Centre who secured good marks in HSLC Examination were felicitated during the programme.

Similarly, the Organising Committee under the aegis of NEINASANG (study club) also organised the "17th Felicitation of Meritorious Students & Achievers Awards 2023 & 2024" at the community hall of the club in Sagolband Tera Loukrakpam Leikai today.

The programme was graced by Dr Th Rabindra as the chief guest.

Chungkham Sunilkumar, convenor of Organising Committee, delivered the keynote address encouraging the students to work hard to become a successful person in the future and contribute towards the society.

During the programme, 57 meritorious students who secured good marks in Class X & XII examinations along with 1 achiever in the field of sports were presented mementos, certificates and cash awards.

Moreover, a "Meritorious Award Function 2024" for students of Heingang Assembly Constituency who secured good marks in Class X & XII examinations conducted by BOSEM, COHSEM and CBSE was also held today at Kontha Ahallup Awang Leikai Community Hall, Kontha Ahallup.

The function was organised by Maheiroi Yok-Khat Lup (MAYOL) under the sponsorship of M Babu Charitable Trust.

It was attended by Dr L Ranjit Singh, retired Director, RIMS, Imphal; T Gulamjit Singh, president, MAYOL and Prof Khumanthem Rajen Singh, HOD, PESS, Dhanamanjuri University as presidium members.

Simple gifts were presented to 135 meritorious students during the function.

Meanwhile, a reception ceremony in honour of Laishram Tomba Singh popularly known as "Bin Laden Tomba" who was newly elected as the president of Manipur State Shumang Leela Council was held today at the office of Samadon Artiste Association, Shumang Leela Kanglup in Paona Bazar.

Laishram Tomba Singh is also the president of Samadon Artiste Association, Shumang Leela Kanglup.

The reception ceremony was organised by the artists of Samadon Artiste Association, Shumang Leela Kanglup.
