LNKR Eastern Zone holds annual Assembly at Ariang

Imphal, March 12 2026: The Liangmai Naga Katimai Ruangdi (LNKR), Eastern Zone, successfully conducted its Annual Assembly at Ariang with members and representatives from across the Eastern Zone in attendance.

LNKR in a statement said that during the Assembly, participants deliberated on several key issues concerning the community and discussed important initiatives to be undertaken in the coming period.

One of the major resolutions adopted at the meeting was to organise a Career Guidance Programme aimed at supporting students and youth in exploring higher education and employment opportunities.

The assembly also resolved to undertake a tour across the Eastern Zone to strengthen coordination, communication and engagement with members at the grassroots level.

Members further discussed the prevailing situation in Manipur and shared their concerns and perspectives on recent developments and their implications for the region and the community.

The organisation also called upon young people to actively participate in community initaitives and remain steadfast in protecting their land, culture and collective interests.

The meeting concluded with a renewed commitment to unity, cooperation, and collective efforts for the welfare and progress of the community.
