Lilong United Club celebrates foundation day

Lilong, September 08 2026: The second foundation day celebration of Lilong United Club (LUC), an apex body of fifty four local clubs of Lilong was held today at Lilong Haoreibi College multipurpose hall.

The foundation day celebration was attended by MPTC Pangei Assistant Director Abul Kalam; Longmai, Noney SDO Md Ziaur Rahman Bogi; Lilong Haoreibi College Principal Professor Md Abdul Sattar Shah; Lilong Police Station OC Inspector Ronil Leishangthem; Darul Yatama Lil Benat Wa Jamiatus Salihat ki Nazem-e-Talimaat (Educational Administrator) Mufti Md Sabir Shah Qasmi and LUC convenor Advocate Sazad Buyamayum as the presidium members.

As a part of the programme, meritorious students who have passed the NEET-UG exam, scholars who have been conferred with their respective doctorate degrees, position holders of Class XII exam, successful candidates of MPSC exam and sportspersons who have achieved remarkable feats were felicitated by presenting simple gifts.

Speaking on the occasion, LUC convenor Advocate Sazad Buyamayum expressed that Lilong United Club has a vision of developing Lilong as a role model in terms of development and progress in the State.

He highlighted the need of collective efforts of all for such an initiative.
