Meeyam Numit held at Senapati, distributed schemes to various beneficiaries

Senapati, February 28 2025: The District Administration, Senapati organised Meeyamgi Numit today for the month of February at Maram Centre Village Community Hall, Lairouching Sub-Division, Senapati.

Today's Meeyamgi Numit was observed away from District HQ with the aim to reach out to people who are unable to visit offices and to strengthen the bond between the Government and the public by providing the platform for citizens to directly interact with the government officials and access various government services without hurdles.

Speaking on the occasion, the DC of Senapati, Mamoni Doley, IAS said that Meeyamgi Numit was observed to listen to the grievances of the public, give awareness on different schemes under various departments and attain saturation of all the welfare schemes.

During the programme, 5 ration cards from CAF & PD, 2 knapsack sprayers from the Agricultural department, 2 PMJAY cards and 3 CMHT cards from Health department and various Aids and Assisted living devices to 5 persons from Social Welfare department were distributed.

Awareness on schemes like PMJAY, CMHT, PMAY-G, Ujjala, PMMVY, etc and activities of various department such as Medical, One Stop Centre, DRDA, DSWO, CAF & PD, Agriculture, ICDS, Elections, Child Protection Unit, Handloom & Textiles, DYASO, etc.

were also highlighted.

More than 600 individuals turned up in today's programme in registering forms and redressing their grievances.

Around 30 department stalls were opened.

Later, Senapati DC, Mamoni Doley, IAS inspected the stalls.

Besides, the medical department also provides free scanning of NCD for the public.

SVEEP Campaign was also organised by District Election Officer, Senapati with the issue of Form 6, 7, & 8 .

The programme was attended by Rang David Kung, MCS, ADM Senapati, Adahrii Maheo, MCS, CEO/ ADC Senapati, SDO's, DLO's and its staff and police personnel.
