PAWF, YDO celebrate foundation day, annual meeting held

Imphal, February 08 2026: The Patriotic Writers Forum, Manipur (PAWF) celebrated its 18th Foundation Day today at Manipur Press Club, Majorkhul, Imphal.

Additionally, the annual general meeting of Patriotic Writers Forum, Manipur was also conducted.

The event was graced by dignitaries, including Langthabal Assembly Constituency MLA Karam Shyam; Patriotic Writers Forum, Manipur president Naoroibam Khamba; Film Forum Manipur former chairman Samjetsabam Mangoljao; Ksh Madhabi, advisory board member of Patriotic Writers Forum, Manipur's Tripura Branch; Khoisnam ongbi Birala, member, Manipuri Language Advisory Board, Sahitya Akademi, New Delhi; Usham Bindarani and Taorem Pumabati from the Manipuri Women Literary & Cultural Organisation, Hojai.

As part of the events, simple gifts were presented to delegates who had traveled from Assam and Tripura for the occasion.

Participants of the 'Hojai Khongchat 2025' were also honored with gifts as a mark of respect and recognition.

Moreover, the 53rd Foundation Day of Youth Development Organisation (YDO) was also celebrated today at Khundrakpam Awang Leikai.

The celebration was graced by Khundrakpam AC MLA Thokchom Lokeshwar and Youth Development Organisation president L Robichandra as the presidium members.

Presentations of gifts to senior citizens and founder members of the club were the main highlight of the event.
