LBSNAA invites State farmer for interactive session

Imphal, November 07 2025: Salam Rohendro Singh, a resident of Laphupat Tera Mayai Leikai, Imphal West district, has been invited by the prestigious Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration (LBSNAA), Mussoorie, Uttarakhand for taking part in an interactive session as part of the Common Foundation Course which is meant for the young Civil servants from AH India Services, Central Services and Officers from the Royal Bhutan Civil Services.

Salam Rohendro is a progressive farmer, promoted by ICAR Manipur Centre, Lamphelpat, Imphal who had adopted various fish rearing technologies developed by ICAR Manipur Centre including "Short Duration Aquaculture" and an innovator in aquaculture.

As per a release issued by ICAR Manipur Centre, the interaction session will be on the topic "Agriculture and Allied Sector" which is scheduled to be held on November 18, 2025 .

This is the fourth time Salam Rohendro has been invited to the academy.

He is a recipient of ICAR RC NEH Region, Umiam Meghalaya "Innovative Farmer Award" conferred in the year 2023 and is also a recipient of the Hari-Charan Das Best Progressive Fish Farmer Award in 2022 during the international conference on 'Responsible Aquaculture and Sustainable Fisheries Interact (RASHI)' held in Agartala.

ICAR Manipur Centre, Lamphelpat, Imphal expressed gratitude and appreciation to Salam Rohendro for being invited by the prestigious LBSNAA .
