Pherzawl, September 30 2025: The District Administration of Pherzawl today organised Block Level Training under the flagship Aadi Karmayogi Abhiyan at Pherzawl Community Hall.

Deputy Commissioner Mannuamching inaugurated the training in the presence of officials, village authority members and civil society organisation leaders.

Addressing the gathering, DC Mannuamching stated that the training would equip participants with practical knowledge and skills to effectively plan and contribute to village development.

She also highlighted the importance of women in decision-making and encouraged them to take a proactive role in local governance.

The training session was facilitated by a team of Block Master Trainers headed by Zosanglur Joute, SDO Tipaimukh.

The training introduced participants to participatory methods such as social and resource mapping, designed to help villages develop their own Village Vision Document and Village Action Plan.

Similar Block Level Training was also held at Thanlon village.

The training was led by Lalthanzam, SDO Thanlon, who, along with his team of Block Master Trainers, trained participants on preparing village vision documents and action plans.

A Transect Walk was also conducted after the training.

The programme at both Pherzawl and Thanlon included an orientation on the goals of the Aadi Karmayogi Abhiyan and its alignment with the national vision of Vikshit Bharat 2047.Trainees were encouraged to use the training tools to mobilize their communities and contribute to village development planning.

The Aadi Karmayogi Abhiyan is a flagship programme of the Ministry of Tribal Affairs aimed at empowering tribal individuals, institutions and governance structures.
