Moreh: CS, Commissioner take stock of public life, civic administration

Chief Secretary of Manipur, Dr Vineet Joshi along with N Ashok Kumar, Commissioner, Home Department today visited the border town of Moreh and took stock of public life and civic administration.
During the visit, Dr Joshi chaired a meeting at the Moreh Shopping Complex along with Deputy Commissioner Tengnoupal Krishna Kumar, SP Tengnoupal Rahul Gupta, CO 5 AR Rahul Jain and other officials including leaders of various civil society organizations in Moreh such as Kuki Inpi Tengnoupal, Hill Tribal Council, KSO, KWU & HR, Tamil Sangam, Gorkha Samaj, Hindustani Samaj, BTCC and MMCM.
While receiving the memoranda from the CSO leaders, the Chief Secretary also held discussions on the prevailing situation in the border town and the concerns of the public.
The Chief Secretary and the Commissioner also visited Integrated Check Post Moreh and inspected the various facilities in the complex.
He also visited the relief camps at Moreh Higher Secondary School and KLP Moreh.
Presenting gifts to the inmates, he assuaged their concerns and promised to take care of them with unending support from the Government.
