Mahei Kumei 2024 concludes, UNNATI awareness programme held

Imphal, May 19 2024: The closing ceremony of the two-days long 'Mahei Kumei 2024' was organised today at UNACCO College, Khongman.

According to a release issued by UNACCO School, Mahei Kumei 2024 was conducted on the theme, "Academia, Health & Discipline" with the aim to foster unity among students, highlight diverse talents, and create lasting memories through various co-curricular activities.

The closing ceremony was graced by Udoi Luwang, DGM/overall-in-charge of UNACCO College; Hematakumar Ningombam, chief editor, Sanaleibak and Dr K Ibomcha Meitei, principal, UNACCO College as presidium members.

The event began with the felicitation of the dignitaries followed by a welcome address delivered by Debadatta Keisham, head of marketing (AGM), UNACCO School & College.

Addressing the gathering, Hemantakumar Ningombam highlighted UNACCO Schools' achievements in the recent CBSE Class X and XII examinations, where the school ranked first in Class XII and second in Class X."The state Class X (CBSE) topper and the COHSEM Class XII topper are both admitted to UNACCO School and College respectively", he added.

Udoi Luwang spoke on the role of individuals in society and the idea of "Education in All-Round Development", emphasizing the promotion of students' talents and the importance of maintaining a challenging spirit throughout life.

The function concluded with a vote of thanks proposed by Dr K Ibomcha Meitei, principal of UNACCO College.

Later, prizes, certificates, and cash awards were given to the winners of the various events conducted during the two-days fest.

Meanwhile, UNACCO Group, Imphal on Saturday organised an awareness programme on "Uttar Poorva Transformative Industrialization Scheme (UNNATI, 2024)" at the Imperial Hall of Hotel Classic Grande, Imphal.

It was graced by Trade, Commerce & Industries, Director, Y Robita Devi; Government of Manipur, Joint Secretary, Polem Lenin Singh; North Eastern Development Finance Corporation Limited (NEDFi), DGM, W Prabinkumar Singh; and NEDFi, AGM, Priyobratta Gurumayum as special invitees.

The programme was moderated by UNACCO School chairman, N Irabanta Singh.

Representatives of All Manipur Entrepreneurs Association, Business Excellence Group, Manipur Chamber of Commerce & Industry, Thoubal District Chamber of Commerce & Industry, Manipur Technical University, Manipur University, NEDFi and Punjab & Sind Bank also participated in the programme.
