Imphal, February 28 2025:
Board of Secondary Education Manipur (BOSEM) Chairman A Joykumar today inspected the ongoing High School Leaving Certificate Examination (HSLC) at some exam centres.
At Temple of Learning, Naorem Leikai, the BOSEM Chairman and his team seized a number of micro notes specially prepared for copying from inside an examination hall.
Taking strong exception to the use of specially prepared micro notes for copying by some students, the BOSEM Chairman urged SOs and OCs of all exam centres to see that the examination is held strictly as per rules.
Pointing out that students are future pillars of the Nation, Joykumar stressed the importance of holding exams strictly as per rules without leaving any room for taking recourse to unfair means.
He appealed to all student organisations, CSOs and the general public to cooperate with BOSEM in its efforts to hold the HSLC exam in strict compliance with rules and regulations.
It was a matter of grave concern that the question paper of Social Science went viral on social media on February 25 some minutes before the commencement of the exam.
The particular incident undermined all the efforts of BOSEM, said the Chairman.
He said that the authorities have been working hard to pull up all those people involved in leaking the question paper.
