Imphal, October 26 2026: A two-day training programme on mushroom cultivation technology was organised by Rama Foundation on October 24 and 25 at Khagempali.

Regional Achiever awardee Soram Rajendra Kumar served as the resource person.

He conducted insightful sessions and practical field demonstrations on scientific cultivation techniques, modern propagation methods and environmental management through slide presentations and instructional videos.

The programme included hands-on training on substrate preparation and bed setup, followed by distribution of certificates to all participants.

High-grade mushroom spawn and other cultivation materials were also distributed as inputs to the trainees.

As per RAMA Foundation, the training aimed at empowering individuals, Self-Help Groups (SHGs) and farmers' clubs with practical skills for income generation, self-reliance and sustainable livelihood.
