Aid extended to hailstorm victims

Imphal, May 12 2024: As part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activities, Paamel Foundation, an initiative of Babina Group of Companies, has extended financial assistance to 109 families affected by the recenthailstorm.

Dr Thangjam Dhabali Singh, chairman & managing director of Babina Group of Hotels and founder-president of Paamel Foundation handed over the financial assistance in a simple function held at the Conference Hall, Babina Diagnostic, Porompat.

Paamel Foundation vice president Dr Sanjenbam Rita Devi, secretary Khumbongmayum Brenda and treasurer Naoba Thangjam along with doctors, company staff & volunteers of Paamel Foundation also attended the event.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr Th Dhabali Singh said that the function was not a celebration, but a small gesture of empathy from the company towards the staff who were affected by the recent hailstorm.

He expressed hope that this support would bring a little sigh of relief to those affected.

The beneficiaries expressed their gratitude for the support during their time of need.

Each of the 109 staff members affected by the hailstorm received a financial assistance of Rs 5000 from the Babina Group of Companies.
