CRPF organises civic action programmes at various places

In a bid to connect with the marginalized section of the society, CRPF under the aegis of IG Manipur and Nagaland Sector has organised Civic Action Programme at different locations of the State.
As a part of the Civic Action Programme, 86 Bn CRPF distributed water storage tanks to the villagers of T Laijang in Kangpokpi district on March 11 .
The programme was attended by Mohamand Yusuf, Commandant 86 Bn CRPF; Sh Thonlenlal Haokip, Deputy Commandant 86 Bn CRPF; and Sh Doumang, chief of T Laijang village among others, said a release issued by CRPF.
143 Bn CRPF also distributed portable solar lamp and study materials to students and villagers of Dailong in Tamenglong district on March 10 .

At the event, L Lhoujem expressed his joy on getting the opportunity to fulfill the long standing need of the villagers and assured that the Unit will continue to serve the people by carrying out such humanitarian activities.
Similarly, the battalion also distributed foot operated sewing machines to the villagers at Merrylane in Noney district on March 9 .
It was attended by Delelaliu Kamei, president Nungba Women Society; Gaiphau Kamei, Village Authority Nungba; and Lungbakhuan, secretary Village Authority Nungba among others.
Moreover, 109 Bn CRPF distributed water storage tanks at Rikhumai Taphou village in Senapati district on March 9 .
The event was graced by Anil Kumar, Second-in-Command 109 Bn CRPF; Hriidane, president Rikhumai Taphou Women Society; president Poumai Naga Union, officials of CRPF, village headman, village chairman/secretary, women & youth leaders and villagers of Rikhumai Taphou.
The battalion also provided sewing machines to the villagers of TNK village in Senapati district on March 7 .
