Ksh Biren calls on JD(U) National president

Ksh Biren Singh, president, Janata Dal (United), Manipur Unit and ex-Minister, has personally conveyed his heartfelt congratulations to Nitish Kumar, Chief Minister, Bihar and National President, Janata Dal(United) on the success of 12 candidates of the party at the recent election to Lok Sabha.
According to a release issued by JD(U) Manipur Unit, the party is going to play an important role in the new Union Government of the National Democratic Alliance, which is likely to be sworn on June 8, 2024 and governance of the country in the next five years.
Ksh Biren Singh personally called on Nitish Kumar today at the latter's residence in Kamraj Lane, near Sena Bhawan, New Delhi and apprised him of the prolonged problems of conflict in Manipur.
He requested the JD(U) National President to use his good office to approach the Prime Minister to resolve the crisis in the State so that normalcy is restored at the earliest.
He also informed Nitish Kumar of the extreme hardships being faced by the people of Manipur in the hills and valley in general, and internally displaced people in particular on account of the ongoing crisis.
Nitish Kumar assured Ksh Biren Singh that he would take all possible steps including meeting the Prime Minister for the restoration of peace and normalcy in Manipur.
Besides, the JD (U), Manipur Unit has informed that it will be submitting a memorandum to the Prime Minister through Nitish Kumar for resolution of the crisis in Manipur just after the swearing ceremony of the new Union Cabinet.
The party will be sending a number of project proposals for creation of new infrastructure projects like, new railway lines, flyovers, roads, etc for the speedy development of the State.
The party will also send a proposal for reconstruction of the homes of displaced people, who have lost everything to the Union Government.
