Imphal, October 26 2026: Khongnangthaba University has declared results of student competitions organised as part of Species-Specific Campaign on Shatavari (Nungarei) - "For Better Health" under aegis of National Medicinal Plants Board (NMPB), Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India.

As per the university, the competitions were organised to create awareness among students about medicinal, nutritional and conservation significance of Shatavari (Nungarei) while encouraging creative expression and academic engagement.

Three categories were held - Painting & Drawing, Elocution/Speech, and Poetry Writing - "Ode to Shatavari" .

The university said category-wise results and names of prize winners are available on the official website and university notice board.

Prizes and certificates will be distributed during the National Workshop on Species-Specific Campaign on Shatavari (Nungarei) to be held on October 30 at IMA Hall, Lamphelpat.

The university congratulated winners and thanked participating students, institutions, teachers and coordinators, and requested winners and concerned institutions to attend the prize distribution programme.
