Imphal, October 09 2024: The decomposed body of an unknown male was found at Langol Wangdei Meitei Leikai, Imphal West at around 2.50 pm on October 8 .

After registering a suo moto case at Lamphel police station, the dead body has been deposited at RIMS mortuary.

The deceased was about 5'5" in height, had short, black hair, wearing one full blue shirt with white stripes, black long pants and one urik around the neck.

The deceased appeared to be in the age group of 50 to 60 years.

A press release issued by the OC of Lamphel police station said that the dead body will be disposed of with due permission of the authority concerned as per law if nobody claims it by October 13 .
