Ability toilet inaugurated

Churachandpur, February 04 2015:
Deputy Commissioner of Churachandpur Lunminthang Haokip formally inaugurated an ability toilet constructed inside the campus of the Malsawm Ability Resource Centre at Personmun today.
The centre's lavatory till now was managed by utilising wood and bamboo.
Mention may be made here, the Malsawm Ability Resource Centre imparts education to over 25 special children and nearly 31 part-timers through its Open Door Service.
With financial assistance from the State Government, the centre has now constructed a lavatory with three ability toilet rooms complete with a sink/basin.
Presently the UNDP has stationed four UN volunteers at the resource centre and the world body is planning to increase the number of volunteers soon with a physiotherapist and another occupational therapist set to the join them shortly.
