Imphal, July 14 2024: Khoisnam Tokya, son of Late Khoisnam Koba Meetei, today distributed a monthly pension of Rs 200 each to 21 senior citizens of Pishum Oinam Leikai.

Khoinam Tokya, who is currently serving as a Data Operator in the Social Welfare Department, visited the residence of the senior citizens and handed over the monthly pension.

Speaking to the media, Tokya recalled the sacrifices made by his father who used to work as a hawker distributing newspapers to the people to ensure that his children received a proper education.

He also shared that the monthly pension was provided in the memory of his father.

Tokya further expressed hope that his assistance will provide some relief to the senior citizens.
