With regard to the UNC's demand for an alternative arrangement outside the Government of Manipur pending solution to the Indo-Naga dialogue, the Union Home Ministry is likely to set up a committee on Monday to look into the same demand.
A source in the Ministry of Home Affairs informed that a committee would be set up definitely.
"We can expect some development on Monday", said the official.
Notably, UNC functionaries have already left for Delhi after the Ministry of Home Affairs intimated them about the Ministry's willingness to set up a committee.
The last round of tripartite talk on UNC's demand for alternative arrangement was held at Senapati and the State delegation was led by Commerce and Industries Mi-nister Govindas Konthoujam.
At the same time, Deputy Chief Minister and Home Mi-nister Gaikhangam maintained that the UNC's demand was put to the Centre and the Go-vernment of Manipur attend- ed the tripartite talks only as a spectator.
The Government would never compromise the State's territorial integrity, he stated earlier.
