RK Imo calls upon Kuki MLAs to attend assembly session

Imphal, August 08 2023: In a bold move aimed at fostering dialogue and finding a resolution, MLA RK Imo has issued a plea to all legislators, who signed for a separate administration, to attend the upcoming assembly session without any fear.

The session aims to facilitate open discussions on the floor on the pressing issues concerning the current crisis in the state.

RK Imo emphasised that the legislators should not fear anything during the session, as both the central government and state government are committed to providing the tightest security measures to ensure everyone's safety.

He urged all to trust in the protection of each other during the assembly deliberations.

The MLA also called upon legislators from a political party, who have supported the separate administration and subsequently withdrawn their support from the BJP government in the state, to consider resigning from the House.

He asserted that holding positions in the assembly while openly opposing the state of Manipur and its government would be contradictory and unfair.
