Imphal, September 02 2023: Last rites of Pebam Deban (50) who was gunned down by Kuki militants at Thamnapokpi Maning on August 31 was performed at his native place today.

Family members and a large number of people including locals of Thamna- pokpi Maning Leikai claimed the body of Pebam Deban (50) at RIMS Imphal today morning.

A large number of people took part in a procession held in his honour, and people came out of their houses in droves to show their respect and pay floral tributes to the deceased.

After paying final tributes at his native place, the body was cremated at Torbung Phougakchao Ikhai Lamthapham with many in attendance.
