IMI 5.0 launched in Senapati

Senapati, August 08 2023: Deputy Commissioner of Senapati Mamoni Doley, IAS, inaugurated the Intensified Mission Indradhanush (IMI) 5.0 under Universal Immunization Programme (UIP) yesterday at DIEC Centre, below District Hospital.

It may be noted that Intensified Mission Indradhanush (IMI 5.0) was introduced in the country to boost Routine Immunization (RI) all over the district throughout the year.

The mission was launched in all the districts of the State and the whole country from July onwards.

However, due to the prevailing tense situation in the State the programme was launched in the district only today.

Later a meeting of District Task Force (DTF) Senapati was held at DC Conference Hall, Senapati chaired by DC Senapati.

The meeting discussed on how to carry out IMI 5.0 effectively in the district and the Chairperson also instructed the Medical Officers to tie-up with Anganwadi workers, ZEO, ADC, Senapati and BDO's for smooth conduct of IMI 5.0 in their respective areas.
