AIFF U-17 WC Academy head coach to visit Manipur

To select the best talents for the U-17 World Cup team to be held in 2017, the All India Football Federation (AIFF) U-17 World Cup Academy head coach along with his staff will be visiting Manipur in May, informed a statement issued by AMFA general secretary L Ranjit Roy.
All Manipur Football Association (AMFA) will be presenting 50 players to the scouting team after conducting a trial selection.
Intending players who are born in the year 2000 and in case of exceptional talents who are born in the year 2001 may submit their entries along with birth certificates and a passport size photograph within May 10 to the association, added the statement.
AMFA notifies: The AMFA executive council has accepted the request made by the Churachandpur District Sports Association (CDSA) general secretary Lhunchon Chongloi to nominate him as its representative to AMFA executive council to fill the vacancy caused by the resignation of former CDSA representative Lalvullien Joute.
The association has also recorded the request of Ukhrul District Sports Association (UDSA) to nominate UDSA vice president Sr Luikham as the president of UDSA for the remaining term 2012-16 to fill the vacancy caused by the resignation of former UDSA president Sira Ragui.
State referess appointed : The All India Football Federation (AIFF) has appointed State referess Ajit Meitei, Mango Singh, Sapam Kennedy to officiate the I-League match to be played on May 17 and 20 at Bangalore and Mumbai.
