BK Trophy: ACT, KPG shine

Anouba Cricket Team (ACT), Canchipur turned out to be the better of Young Cricketers-2 (YC-2) Bamon Kampu in a Pool-D match of the BK Trophy 2015-the 6th State Level Open Tennis Ball Cricket Tournament organised by Young Cricketers, Bamon Kampu at Irilbung High School ground in the morning today.
After the winning the toss, YC-2 elected to bat first and collected 150 runs with nine wickets down from 20 overs.
In reply, ACT comfortably collected 156 runs with 9 wickets down from 16 overs, thus, winning the match by 3 wickets.
Sheiteendra of ACT who scored 28 runs and took 3 wickets was awarded with the man of the match.
In another match played in the afternoon, KGP Khurai suffered defeat in the hands of SSC Irilbung by 9 wickets.
KPG elected to bat first and could secure only 60 runs with 10 wickets down from 15.5 overs.
But SSC surpassed KPG by collecting 136 runs with 3 wickets lost in 16.2 overs.
Nicky of SSC who managed to take 3 wickets and score 6 runs was honoured with the man of the award.
