1st DSA Youth League : KMSWC, YDO and DYA victorious

KMSWC, Keirak, YDO, Sora and DYA, Elangkhangpokpi defeated their rivals in today's matches of the ongoing 1st Youth League 2018 being organised by District Sport Association, Kakching under the aegis of All Manipur Football Association at SWC playground.
KPSC who were scheduled to meet SWC, enjoyed walk over as SWC did not turn up for the match.
The second match of the day saw YDO beat KFC, Kakching by 2-1 goals.
Dinesh of KFC opened up early in the 4th minute but Mukimuddin of YDO equalised the score through a well crafted shot in the 14th minute to finish the first half 1-1 .
Both teams tried desperately to put in the winner in the second half and it was in the 37th minute that Riyas Khan netted the much anticipated winner and take home the match.
The third match of the day was rather entertaining as DYA come back from one goal down to thrash SESU, Kakching 4-1 .
Both the teams started the game on front note and under fortuitous circumstance, D Ezekiel of SESU netted the first goal early in the 4th minute.
Stung by the goal, DYA intensified their raids with better understanding and fine passing.
Their relentless attempts helped stretch the defence line up of SESU and the 8th minute of the match saw Th Netrajit level the score to 1-1 .
DYA continued to press SESU and it was E Rustam who sneaked into rivals box luckily and gave his team a 2-1 first half lead.
Th Bidan of DYA slotted the first goal of the second half in the 23rd minute while E Rustum was at it again scoring the last goal in the 38th minute and wrapped up the game 4-1 .
KMSWC, Keirak rode on Md Anish to demolish KYWAC, Wabagai 3-0 in the last match of the day.
Md Anish Khan gave the first goal in the 19th minute of this one sided match while his second goal came in the 50th minute after Md Rajkhan struck a single in the 23rd minute.
Meanwhile, a press release issued by District Sports Association, Kakching stated that SWC have been scratched from the current league tournament for restraining from their scheduled match at its own home ground.
