SEFA and Bikram 11 have entered the semi-final stage of the 4th Bikram Memorial State Level Tennis Ball Cricket tournament overcoming their respective opponents in the quarter final matches today.
In the first match of the day today, SEFA won the toss and elected to bat and managed to compile 115 runs for the loss of 10 wickets in 12 overs.
Put in to bat, Young Cricketers were however never in the race to reach their target as their batsmen gifted their wickets away easily to fold up at 88 runs for the loss of 10 wickets in 12.2 overs.
SEFA won the match by 27 runs to enter the semi-final stage.
For his contribution with the bat (22 runs from 13 balls) and for picking up two wickets in 3 overs for 10 runs, Hasif of SEFA walked away with the man of the match award.
In the second quarter final played today, LUC won the toss and opted to bat first.
Though LUC put up a competitive score of 141 for the loss of 7 wickets in the allotted 15 overs, the batting line up of Bikram 11 rose to the occasion and managed to overtake the target notching up a total of 144 runs for the loss of 7 wickets in 12.3 overs.
Bikram 11 won the match by 3 wickets and entered the semi-final.
The man of the match award went to Kennedy of Bikram for his blistering 49 runs off only 12 balls.
