Imphal, March 11 2014 :
United Naga Council (UNC) has said that those political parties and candidates whose manifestoes, agenda or activities confront the Naga's aspirations would be considered as anti-Naga.
According to a statement issued by the Publicity Wing of UNC, the Presidential Council of the UNC held today reaffirmed its earlier resolution taken on December 15, 2011 that any candidate or political party opposing the 'established and registered' position of the Nagas would be considered as anti-Naga.
The UNC also said that the policies, programmes and activities of any political party which do not conform to the established position of the Nagas would not be qualified for support of the Naga people in any manner.
The Naga people should adhere to the resolved positions in letter and spirit in the coming 16th Lok Sabha election, the statement added.
