MPSC outsmart JSYC, beats 5-0 at 7th MSL

Outplaying their rival JSYC, Sadar Hills, the Manipur Police Sports Club (MPSC) today won the match at the ongoing 7th Manipur State League organised by the All Manipur Football Association (AMFA) at Mapal Kangjeibung, Imphal.
MPSC beat a goalless JSYC with five goals to win today's match.
M Somochandra of MPSC drew the first blood in the 18th minute of the match while the second goal of MPSC was an own goal of JSYC committed by Ksh Elvis in the 51st minute while trying to avert a volley by heading.
Minutes later Somochandra scored another brace in the 56th minute in a penalty kick and extended the lead to 3-0 .
Meanwhile the fourth and fifth goal of MPSC were scored in the 69th and 78th minutes of the match by Henry Chawang.
Talking to reporters, MPSC team captain Ksh Kanta said that his team played the match well but could not reach their expectations.
There were pressures among the players since many senior players could not play the tournament.
However they are hoping to improve their performances in future matches.
Commenting on the performances of JSYC players, Kanta said that JSYC is not a weak team.
They played very well and they have a bright future if they put more efforts.
On the other hand, JSYC captain Paokhomang Hangshing said that all the players of his team are from Sadar Hills areas.
Lack of experiences and injuries among the players in the second half as well as unable to score any goal demoralisesd the players in today's match.
The most major problems JSYC facing at present is the lack of a coach and a play ground in their area.
