Imphal, November 15:
International chess player Th Gobin Luwang emerged champion in the 11th State U-13 Boys and Girls Chess Championship being organised by YVO, Yaiskul without conceding a point while in the girls section Th Sanatombi emerged champion with three points.
In the same boys section Chittaranjan Taorem secured 2nd position with 6.5 points while in girls section Cordelia Sougaijam bagged second place.
All the four have been selected to represent the State in the 18th National U-13 Boys and Girls Chess Championship to be held at Vijayawada from Dec 23-31.
