Sadar Hills Super League FCK thrash KYU, LBYC hold Ninou FC

Football Club Khanglai (FCK) demolished Kangpokpi Youth Union (KYU) 5-0 while LBYC were held to a 2-2 draw by Ninou FC in today’s matches of the ongoing Late Pu K Hangshing Memorial Sadar Hills Super Division Football League at Brig M Thomas ground, Kangpokpi DHQs .
In the first encounter, Lunminthang and Kamgoulal scored twice each to hand FCK an emphatic 5-0 win against KYU.
FCK dominated the match from the first whistle.
Lunminthang opened the account early in the 6th minute while Kamgoulal struck a nice goal in the 32nd minute to wrap the first-half 2-0 .
After the breather, FCK resumed the offensive raids even though they were ahead by two goals.
Kamgoulal made a fine run and netted his second goal in the 61st to make the scoreline 3-0.Ten minutes later, Lunminthang again found the back of the net to further extend the lead against helpless KYU.
The goal fest ended with Mangminlen who cracked a power packed shot beating the KYU’s custodian in the 77th minute.
KYU failed to make any inroad past the well orchestrated defence lines of FCK .
Letgunmang of KYU was yellow carded in the 69th minute for unsporting behaviour .
In the second match, LBYC battled back in the second-half to finished the match in a 2-2 stalemate with NFC .
NFC led the first-half with two goals over LBYC.
Seiboi drew the first blood in the 8th minute while Lamgougin found the back of the net in the 22nd minute to make it 2-0 .
The second-half saw a turning point for LBYC as they shifted gears and started the attacks.
Seigunmang of LBYC set a moment for celebration as he managed to score the first goal for his team in the 49th minute reducing the goal deficit to one.
NFC also made few attempts to capitalise on their lead but failed as alert rival’s defence denied all moves .
Solomon of LBYC was successful to draw level as he found a crack in the defence line of NFC and struck home the ball in the 79th minute.
The ending minutes saw both teams trying to break the deadlock but ended without any result .
Lovejoy of LBYC and Lamgougin of Ninou FC were yellow carded in the 21st and 55th minute respectively .
FC Kangchup will face Leimakhong Bazar Youth Club in the first match at 12.15 pm tomorrow while JSYC will take on FC Khanglai in the second match at 2.15 pm.
