Night Tourney IFT 2017 Milui FC to face KFA in final

Milui Football Club will face Kuki Football Academy in the final match of the Night Tourney Invitation Football Tournament 2017 on October 10 at D Phaihel village, Kangpokpi .
In the first semi-final match played yesterday, Milui FC edged past Kilkhong FC 3-2 in a hard fought match.
Sempu of Milui FC sent home the ball in the 17th minute to open the account.
His team mate, Lunminthang also struck another goal in the 22nd minute to establish 2-0 lead against Kilkhong FC.
Stung by the double lead, Lenminlal of Kilkhong FC deftly brought the ball near the goal area and pulled back one goal in the 25th minute to reduce the deficit.
The first-half ended with Milui FC leading the game 2-1
Sempu was yellow carded in the 31st minute in his frenetic effort to beat a rival player .

Kilkhong FC started the second-half with more attacks and their efforts paid off with an equalizer in the 59th minute through Lencha Singsit.
The deadlock stayed for a while but was conked out when Seikai of Milui FC struck a fine goal in the 81st minute re-establishing the lead.
KFC tried hard to find the leveller but ended without success making way for Milui FC to the final berth .
Lenminthang Hangshing of Kilkhong FC was declared man of the match .
In the second semi-final match, Champhai Area and Kuki Football Academy (KFA) played out an exciting match.
SK Tuboi hit a hat-trick to hand KFA a place in the final match .
KFA was the first to open up as Lamkholen Kipgen found the net in the 27th minute.
Spurred by the deficit, Champhai Area also launched a series of attacks but were warded off with ease by KFA’s defence.
The first half ended 1-0 in favour of KFA .
Both teams restarted their raids as soon as they entered the field after the break.
The equaliser came in the 64th minute when Champhai Area’s striker Lamgousem struck home the ball beating the rival’s custodian making the score 1-1 .
The parity did not last long as the next minute saw a counter attack from KFA restoring the lead again as SK Tuboi nestled home the ball.
The lead was again levelled in the 77th minute when Lamminlen of Champhai area sent home the ball making it 2-2.The last ten minute of the regulation time was a turning point for KFA as SK Tuboi struck two more goals in the 81st and 84th minute to wrap the game 4-2 comfortably.
Lungousem of Champhai Area was declared man of the match.
